When did you start in
budgies? As a young boy of 12 in my country of birth, Basrah,
Iraq and then in 1971 when I joined the BS. I always had a pet
budgie in my early days in England from 1962.
Favourite colour/variety
(Budgie) Crests, Spangles & Dominant Pieds but a good budgie
regardless.

Best Budgie moment? BS
Club Show 1973 when as a beginner I won the CC for Best Recessive
Pied and also Best Crest. Many honours came my way throughout my 47
years in the hobby and all are valued.
Budgie clubs you belong to?
Many, I started at the Southend BS in 1972 so BS, LSCBS, ASBS,
CBBA, LABS, and my three local clubs Southend, Mid Essex, South Mids
BS & Ipswich.
Other hobbies? Fanatic
about the cinema where I go every week at least once and sometime up
to 3 times.

None that are not bird related.
Favourite holiday
destination? Far East with China, India & Thailand but enjoy
relaxation in the Mediterranean countries.
